Thanks for the recommendation on their work. Right up the street when I get my kit next year so I'll look into them.

Thanks BEEZWAX,
PRICE NOT TOO BAD for install.
Owner told me that at full 2.5 of lift that my upper control arm wont last what it would stock, he is right.
If I jack up front 5100 to 2.5 it will cause more stress, I don't have 4x4 so no worry about cv joints.

Well what can wear out prematurely with these adj 5100 shocks set up to 2.5 of front lift which is like a TOYTEC probably, if we don't off road the heck out off them?
Maybe he meant ball joints?

ya thats about it everything else seems to be at ok angles on just the leveling kits. The only thing I can think of is the UCA hitting the spring when dropped all the way down.

What kind of wheelin do you have to do to make uca hit spring?
I came down curb when parked on grass the other day and heard a bang in front end with stock shocks, they don't bottom out that easy do they?

not normally. but when my truck was stock I bent my skid plate playing on a muddy road and hit a small wash out. If the Springs are big and you have alot of angle on the UCA then it will hit . I had to turn my coils down bc mine were hitting at first. Now they just barely clear. Hopeing for good income tax so i can get some after market UCA.

So still wondering if 2.5 inch lift in coil with 5100 is worth going or go 1.7 or the lowest .8 of an inch and just enjoy shocks?
Don't want to pay little now and pay allot 60,000 miles from now?
ALLOT OF PEOPLE HAVE LEVELING KITS ON THEIR ROAD HUGGER Trucks, wonder how they are doing with higher mileage on their front ends?
This conversation occurred with the owner of OFF ROAD SHOP, GOOD GUY IN THE SENCE THAT WANTS ME to know what can happen down the road.

Are the shocks adjustable? is 2.5 with them turned all the way up? I have 37k on mine so far so good and mine are really extreme angles. You will be fine with 2" or 2.5

Yes, please add some info on what the actual adjustments to these shocks accomplish. I'm planning on replacing stock with the Bilstein 5100s too. What causes them to bang into the UCA? Not planning on upgrading UCA too!

On a double cab middle 1.78 notch would get you level and top will get you nose high, and then your going with a block in back. If a 4x4 you don't even need diff drop at this under 2 inch setting.
On my crewmax, If I go full hight 2.5, it will give half inch higher in back, but look dead level. Middle setting of 1.78 gives it a little rake on crewmax.
I am concerned on wear cause believe it or not, I keep trucks to 200,000 miles if they don't start breaking down too soon.
Bottom setting gives you under an inch lift.
This is what I have read, but you will need a LIFT GURU to really give you experience.
I'm holding off on install, if I'm not convinced I'll put them on lowest setting and call it a day.

Yes adjustable with 2.56 full lift, then 1.78,then lowest is .8 inches, I'd like to know what happens at 150,000 miles or regular driving compared to stock height?
I don't plan to bang em off road as if they were full real coilovers, especially on this truck.

Spoke to someone that has them installed on a DC and he has it at the second setting to keep it level. No info on CM to help you out.
