Subject: LED's for my upcoming project 1/4/2010, 6:57 pm
so about a month ago I went to eBay, shopping for banks or LED's and came across this seller that goes by floyd-shop88... here is a link to their store. http://myworld.ebay.com/floyd-shop88/
their shipping is slow but their products are inexpensive.... ships in from Shanghai, China
I picked up some High Intensity EMS LED's with controller boxes
These babies are boxed in, Magnified High Intensity LED's... each box has 22 LED's and measures 3.75"W, 1.5"H, .75"D
This controller box has 3 different settings.... you'll see them below in the video i took
I also picked up these little gems from the same seller. These are also High Intensity LED's that are magified... I got 6 of them with 3 in lead fixture...
Here is a video that I shot of the different patterns for the contoller box
my plans are to cut out the blinker in my taillights, mount the Amber LED boxes in place of the stock reflector blinkers, cutout the Backup lights and replace those with the bright white or clear LED boxes and the small little LED's i plan to mount under the truck to come on with the interior lighting when the doors are opened AND when you disarm the alarm system...

Agreed - doesn't sound like a high dollar investment and I love the fact it's quite unique. BTW - I love the future mods you have listed now. Good luck in 2010!
