I picked up a new 2010 Crew Max this weekend from Star and have been trying to decide on what tire size I am going to run. I think I have decided to go with a 35" tire(325/65 R18). I know this is a fairly wide tire, but I am going to try to make it work. I am planning to use the Low Range Off Road 3/1 level. I am almost positive I will have to modify the front bumper and most likely the body mount also. From what I have read is that a 18X9 wheel with +35 offset will work best with this combo. I have not decided on a wheel yet. Still searching the web for pictures of wheels to try to decide on one. Just curious if anybody has seen a combo like this and what is your opinion. I like the look of a larger tire that fills the wheel well over the look of a 33" tire. I found a write up on another forum about the same combination. Take a look at the link below and let me know what you think. http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/tundra/138052-lifted-with-35-and-pictures-share/

The 2010 has more clearance than the 2007-2009? I had no idea. This is my first Toyota truck I have ever owned, so my experience with Toyota trucks if very low. Thanks for the input.

Hi Scott - welcome to the site. That's a great tire size. I've ordered mine and waiting to get my truck back in state to lift and install. It does seem the 2010s have much more clearance so hopefully the fitment will work with a 3/1 kit. Good luck getting more research done on GCT and other areas. Feel free to also post questions in the Direct Tire sponsor section. They're great about responding to our needs and getting you quotes, etc.

Dad's right...listen to his old ass. And just b/c you don't work doesn't mean your spare time is for partying. I expect a lot from you, Gabe!
