LOL if it were important they would put one back on after a supercharger install. As far as painting it you just need to clean and degrease it real good, mask off what you don't want panted and put a few coats of adhesion primer for plastics. Then go get tou some spray touch up paint for your color code if that is the color you want and put several light coats of that on and you are good to go. you may want to sand it with some 600 or 800 grit sandpaper if you want to take the rough texture off and make it smooth.

It's purely cosmetic, take it off paint it up and make it look good then throw it back on and make the old man happy

Watch the temperature bro, if its too cold outside you may not want to paint, unless you are in a garage or something. Check the can for recommended temps.

Cool - can't wait to see the finished product. May do this mod while I'm on vacation but it won't be anything special since I'm not that artistic but it's a simple enough project.

I should get my tattoo replicated on the engine cover...that would be bad ass but I'm definitely not that skilled.

You want to give it a shot? I'll pop it off the truck before I drop it off tomorrow just in case. Trying to meet Beez tomorrow so maybe I'll connect with you too.
