so.. as some of you know... December of 2008 I was laid off from Brand Industrial Solutions Turnaround Division as their Regional Hiring and Recruiting Manager.... had my own office, got yearly bonus's, paid salary, vacations, 401K....the works.
In Febuary of this year, I resorted back to the retail environment and started working for Sears in onw of their Home Appliance Showroom's.
Today was my official starting date as a Store Supervisor/Key holder. It's a decent move upward. now instead of getting paid only commssion. I get an hourly base plus commission.

Congrats, Ben - progression is always a good thing and I'm sure you worked hard for it. Always good to hear there's a base incentive in the package.

I own the powdercoating place.... still have bills to pay so I work a regular job aswell. if my company doesnt kick off with some great business, then I'll still have Sears to keep me going.
