I am thinking of painting my plastic grey piece on the front bumper gloss black to match my grille and BHLM. What do you guys think? Also thinking of doing my pillars inside the truck to match my dash with grey handles?

Shawn seems to be good with painting so I say he do it...LOL...but Chris is bored at work so maybe he do it as a good challenge. Somebody post pics. It'll be nice. My next mod will be finding stock tires. Or if I get bored this weekend peel the black tape off the pillars.

Yes I think I'll remove that crap from the pillars before I head to a truck meet in NorCal this Sunday. What's the stuff to use to get the remaining goo off?

I'm done with the driver's side and moving on to passenger. It comes off very easily and didn't really need it to be hot outside. Just a little buffing to get extra goo off will probably do but it looks shiny silver and it only took about 5 minutes.

Talking about painting, I'm going to paint the chrome trim around my grill when I do my headlights. I want as much chrome as I can get gone. I'll be the test dummy on that one

Total opposite of Brad but your truck's color looks nice blacked out. So has anyone done any painting or not?
