I have always wondered what heavy wheels and tires and a big lift would do to a 4.7?

It holds its own.... Just finished my off road 4 runner so we'll soon see how it pulls a lowboy with a 4runner on it.

Dude, I didn't know you were a 4.7. I always assumed it was so beefed up that I never questioned it. Very cool that you're doing all that and getting what you want out of it. Just finish off the exhaust with tips and you're good to go....

the aFe won't work with the TRD blower but the TRD kit comes with a CAI as part of the package

Just curious, has anybody else experienced a wining noise coming from their CAI after they installed it. I've had mine and it just here lately has "supposedly" started to wine after I shut the truck off

I have heard some talk about the whine but not sure what it is Supposedly the whine is pressure build up that is left over when the truck is shut off and the pressure is released. If this is true I'm just wonder why it waited over a year after being installed to start doing this.

Is yours a "whistle" like on a turbo or a "whine" like pressure being released?
