Here is 1 of many contests...

Rules:
Every NEW member that registers must reply to the welcome PM that is sent out and state the screen name of the person whom they were referred by. Doesnt matter if it's 1 or 20 new members.... winning is winning!!!

I will keep track and update this post for EACH new member who replys.

The winner at the end of October will recieve a FREE GCT.com Shirt.

Each of you who came to the meet were given 50 handout cards... use them!

For those of you who DO NOT have cards... you need to email your mailing addy and I'll mail you some!

Maybe if when some of the new recruits came to the site they could see their recruiter in the who's online box that would encourage them to sign up and stay. I know I know sometimes we like to make a quick hit in here and want to be unseen but if the site looks empty that would seem to discourage participation....I'm just saying that's all....

actually Chuck... when a new member signs up, there is an automatic PM that generates and sends them a welcome message... included into that message is diretions for them to simply reply to this message and let me know WHO they were referred by. I've only recieved 1

That's what i'm saying, to a visitor who may or may not be a recruit the little box on the side showing who's online being empty makes it "look" like no one is here but really there are a bunch of hidden people even thought it doesn't show a "hidden" number in the box. Again just saying we can hype the site all we want but when it looks like a ghost town according to the "who's online" box it kinda defeats the hype and efforts that are out there to get this thing up and running.
