Forum layout

i figured we can get some ideas on how the forum should be layed out.

I think the links should be bold black text,
what other things do you think the site needs?

the reply box when replying to a thread, the cursor blends in so well with the background that you almost can't see it. just an fyi bro!

When quoting someone in a thread...the quoted portion of your post shows up in red....and it's a little hard to read. Could you try a different color for the quotes? Is it just me?

Here is another one Ben, when reading the forum area......where is the link to get back to the front page of GCT? I have just been going back into my favorites and then selecting www.gulfcoasttundras.com from the favorites bar. Do you think there should be a link on the forum to get back to the page where Shawn's truck pic is? It would make it easier to navigate back and forth if people want to donate or buy some GCT gear!!

What about when we subscribe to a thread? Can this site give you options as to how you want to subscribe? For example, I tend to use the "no email notification" option on all the other sites....so I don't get 400 emails every day updating me on those threads. I prefer to go to the message board and check my subscribed threads that way. Just a question and possibly an improvement.

if you click the link for your profile, you SHOULD be able to change your notification options

No, like on TT and IBTOHQ I can subscribe...and when I log in check my subscribed threads....and they never email me. I just click on "no email notification" option when subscribing.

Click the Profile Link at the top

Then click Preferences

Then set your notifications by email to NO

Oh... and one more thing... "WATCHING" threads is basically the same as subscribing to topics... you have a list that you can create and go to them when you want. they dont automatically add to that list

I meant it for the outside background that looks like solar screens, but it looks good here too.

I did use the image... I cant change the entire back ground but the Forum separator bars in that grafic look cool.

as far as your sig... click your profile link... then go to preferences, and make sure the option to attach your sig is click on yes!!!
