Hey so the last components of my new system finally shipped
shallow Boston Acoustics 10" subs
CBT audio Component for the fronts
CBT audio Coaxials for the Rear
sundown amps
and a Tech12volt enclosure
as soon as I get back to my office in Mississippi I'll do the install and post pics

Interested to know how it all sounds. Trying to find the right system for mine. Can't decide if I wana spend a lot of money on a few things or a decent amount of money on a lot of things.

How many offices do you work out of? I'm just in Cali. And yes, same here Zack. I just want a decent sound. Nothing to rattle the windows but I want clarity.

just the three offices, well except for when I make vendor visits and then i work out of whatever office they give me
that's why i'm in beaumont right now
my goal for this system is clarity also I not a boom and thump kind of guy just want the sound that's why I went with 10's instead of 12's they have less rattle and I think an overall better sound
should begin the install early next week sometime so i'll let yall know how it goes

I see. Thought you were solely TX-based. I like boom/thump but not for everyone else to enjoy. You get people thinking they can enjoy in their own ride and steal from you. That's why I like I can hear mine in the cab really well but outside there's no sound.

I ran Alpine 6.5" fronts/6x9 3-way rears in my old Maxima with a 10" MTX Blue Thunder....ONE Kenwood amp....NICE!! I wish they made Blue Thunders still.

I like Crutchfield due to them sending you all the interfaces to complete the job.

Yeah crutchfield is a little overpriced . Any good shop should know all the parts you need for your vehicle. Its pretty easy now days with sites like www.bestkits.com . Crutchfield is actually wrong about a ton of stuff as far as what fits in what cars. Alpine is not the product they use to be. But as far as headunits interfacing with an IPOD alpine has the ebst out there for IPOD functions. I just can not do the IPOD thing. I like quality in my recordings.

I have never had an issue with Crutchfield. I also know what I need. And they consistently beat the prices of the local shops here by a large margin. Personally, I do better work than the shops so I will do it myself.

Also, It is AWESOME that we have a custom box supplier here now. A good box is as important as a good sub.

i agree most shops today are hacks. I keep my prices below Crutchfield always but most shops are into raping people also.

I looked at the website and really like the enclosures ya'll build. I'm hoping that I win the raffle! Can you or do you carry Focal, JL Audio, MTX or Kicker? What about Eclipse?
