Never been. Give me some more details like cost, directions, etc. I doubt I'd race but interested.

Oh crap! Someone invited me for a birthday event in the Galleria. How long will you be out there? I'd rather hit a different area than the Galleria anyway and don't need to be drinking.

So the proposed spot is a wine bar and right now I don't want anything to do with anything that reminds me of California so it's likely I can make it.

Are you from California? I'm a california ex pat myself I claim nothing about that horrible state except that I'd like to move my belongings home and never look back. Glad you got out of Evil-ville...

Where do I begin? No Blue Bell ice cream, no access to shopping conveniences, weird ass pansy men, cost of living is ridiculous, quality of life sucks b/c you can't enjoy the state's beauty if you have to work so much just to make ends meet, and honestly the residents are a kind of weird I can't even begin to explain. And they literally tax or add a fee to everything and anything you can think of yet the state is so broke. Our Tundras would cost approximately $6K just to register each year. Also, I paid more for rent in a 2/2 apt than a 4/3 mortgage here the first 9 months I lived there....and I was in the ghetto. Now ask me again why I hate California so much.

And see whoever at the track this evening. I think I'll be rolling through for a bit. I would like to save the $20 since I'm heading to N.C. to finally meet my younger niece but I only live once.....FUGG IT! I could die tomorrow so may as well enjoy what today has to offer.

In all this rant there is only one good reason not to live there. Cost of living. It's ridiculous how much it costs, which is why I had to move also. If the money weren't an issue though, I'd move back in a heartbeat!

Oh and I forgot to say the ground shakes and the rain will wash you off the side of Highway 1 and into the Pacific. At least I know when hurricanes/storms are approaching in TX.

Well thats a trade off. Either the ground shakes a little, or you have wind and rain blow over your trees and flood your house..and mud slides don't affect that many people, and they're mostly rich lol
