Thats the all new 2010 Mercedes E-Class. It is a bad ass car. I would definitely buy one if I had the money. The new E63 is even better.

Hey Eric - I know you work for them so confirm if this is true...they tried to charge my friend over $200 just to change the air filter. That was the last straw with maintenance BS plus the brake squeal issue that they traded it in. Cmon - $200 for an air filter change?

Just depends on how much the air filter is and what the labor time is and labor rate. I have seen that most MB air filters cost between 50-70 bucks. Then labor time shouldn't be more than .5 hrs. Now every dealer has different labor rates. In Sugar Land, the labor rate is $114 and hour. So, lets say air filter is 60 plus tax and we will say that the total is $65. Labor rate times labor time = $57. So its basically around $120.
People seem to forget about maintenance costs when buying a Mercedes. If you can't afford maintenance, you have no business driving the car. Just to do a complete front brake job on a bottom of the line C class will set you back $1200. You want that status symbol of driving a Mercedes, you will pay for it.

They can more than afford it but don't want to (and I can understand why). The labor rates are higher than Cali standard rates, so that alone tells me it's ridiculously inflated. However, I'm glad you are reaping that benefit, bro!

Well, that is just .5 hrs times my hourly rate which doesn't equate to much so I always welcome those bigger jobs like brakes and tires. Thats my bread and butter there.
