I don't know how many of you have an account on Tundra Geeks but I think it was in August when I had some trouble with my local discount and posted a long post about a negative experience.
Well when I noticed that GCT had Discount Tire as a supporting vendor I thought I would contact them and get my problems solved.
I sent them an email, they sent one back and then today I talked to somebody on the phone. Wish I would of gotten there name.
But anyways, when I got off the phone I was very happy with the service I received over the phone. He was very understanding and worked with me.
If you need to get some tires and/or aftermarket wheels go to Discount Tire Direct.

Glad that it worked out well for you. I personally have never had an issue with Discount's various local shops on the N side and have been doing business with them since 98 when I was in high school (yeah revealing age a bit).

Thats the exact one I went to and have been going to ever since they opened. They suck balls, I went there 8 times within a week just for them to properly balance my tires.
If I were you I'd go to the new one on 518 and 528 although I haven't been there yet.

No way! Unless you're exaggerating, no one has that kind of time. You work in customer service to know that's not tolerable and how to get it done - SOONER. Better luck next time, bro....and glad DTD has you on track.

Just a little FYI ALL of the wheels for our trucks OEM or after market should be ballanced ussing the Haweka flange plate. I took my truck to about 5 diff. Discounts before I knew I needed a place that had the adap. All dealers have one so I went to my dealer and have not had any problems! SOOOOOOO I ask Discount, Why Why Why dont you guys have this plate w/ sooo many Tundras on the road??? Here is a pic of the plate.

did you pay them, or they balanced it for free?

thats weird ya got bad service they got me and my dad a ton of rebates and junk and were real fast o well everyone has there off days lol and that new one in fwood is good but is more crowded than the mall on black friday

Yeah, we'll see next time around when I need to balance and rotate my tires, should be in about 1500-2000 miles.

I use Ben over at their LaPorte location on Spencer across from Walmart/Whataburger....
I have bought both my sets of Toyos from him.... One in November 2008 and the other in August 2009.
Real nice guy, even though he has a dumb name.... jk Beez...
I have ALWAYS bought my tires for all my trucks and trailers from Discount.... I think I have a list a mile long in my profile....
I will be headed over there again in a few weeks for him to get some new bling bling rims and new tires on my new trailer....
I wish I would have the trailer ready for the meet, but I will try to bring it to the February meet. Its gonna be sweet!!!
Here is the last truck/trailer rig that I put together.... Lift, rims, tires, repaint trailer and my own decal work.
Im shooting for 20" Goliaths on my new trailer to match my truck.... Trailer will also be color matched with custom decals/graphics....
