Ok I'll Start this thread off! Who's got a true surround sound setup in their rig and what system did you go with? For those folks who are looking to do this in the future, what setup are you considering? Let's see some Pics!

As soon as I'm able, I'm going with Focal components front and rear. That's the only definite that I have for right now. I want a screen but I can't find a good bang for the buck deal.
As for subwoofers, I'm wanting to fit mine behind the seat in a double cab. The audio shop told me they can do this but you have to use JL Audio slimline subs and they run $650 a piece. Any Ideas??

Thanks for the info.

I love focals but to much $$ for me. I was impressed with the slims my self they are deff worth the money to save space, and you can find them cheaper than 650. Also JL are not the only ones that have slim subs now. Its all in what you want.... Thanks for the props, Dan

My subs sit under the backseat in a custom box using custom shallow Kicker CVT design if you're looking for an alternative. JL is super expensive. For less than half that I can find you some Kickers. Go check the specs and see if that would interest you.

I hear you on the price of Focals. A shop here in town can install door speakers in my truck all the way around though for less than one TW5, that's why I want to do that first. But I do love some bump. The same shop said they got a box to fit behind the seat in a double cab so i might need to double check on that. I wish i would have gone with the crewmax too.
As for that Kicker setup, thanks for the info. I'll have to definately look into that. The only reason I like JL Audio over Kicker is I've had a lot of problems with getting Kicker to fulfill their end on warranty deals while JL Audio has a great turn around with warranty and service

No prob. The box is generic but might be deep enough to still fit slim JLs. I had it all done as a pkg deal but I'm sure the box can be sold for $120 or less.

Thanks Shawn, that would save me quite a bit of money. I had thought about doing it myself as well but I've never been good with pulling plastic in vehicles without breaking it... Maybe you can even show me how it's done if we get a chance at the meet next week.
