Because it is a larger diameter it does mean less sidewall which means less flex in the sidewall which will help keep the majority of the tread footprint on the trail. But I like 18's just as much... Just figured I'd throw it out there.
IT'S ALL GOOD BRO! We all drive "The Beast" & that's what's important. Besides, I love the look of your truck.

Final Update - Purchased 18" KMC Rockstars in black matte with 325/60/18 Nitto TerraGrapplers equating to 37s. I wanted to give the business to the 1960 4Wheel but I need TPMS out, dispose original stockers, and mount my temporary replacement stockers to safely return in December...and I need to space out the purchase cycle to make sure my cash flow stays on point. I chose 4Wheel (although the pricing is $100 more than the lowest Houston quote) since there are locations in TX and CA in case I have any issues with my tires. Thanks to all the members that have helped me learn all the things I needed to know. And a special thanks to Brad for putting up with my total ignorance yet still answering honestly and informatively.

I knew I was a math champ. Found out this morning when I went to pick up tires the idiot that rang things up had no idea what he was doing. Tried to charge me $400 more cuz he DID order 37s when I told his butt long ago the size I had calculated should have been 35s. They took care of me and fixed it...so yes, I am getting 325/65/18s which are 35s on will call to the Houston location. Will just ride out my stockers to get home in December and sell the oher set out here in Cali.

And you know this, maaaan! I shouldn't call him an idiot but he called me so much trying to make sure it could fit 37s you would have figured somewhere in there he'd mention they were planning to charge my credit card an additional $400 so I'd say HELL NO.....

Thanks, guys....I'm really excited about it cuz I've never been in a position to afford anything like this PLUS have knowledgeable people help me understand all these options, etc.
