This mod was originally done by Deznutjob at TundraGeeks. Just thought I would bring it over here so some other people who might not know about it can use it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyone ever consider installing an amp behind the seat of your DC Tundra? The only problem would be quick access for adjusting the amp. I found a way to access behind the seats without unbolting them every time. Start by removing the single rear seat on the passanger side. (4) 14mm bolts and 2 torques bolts. Then you lift the whole seat up (as its attached with hooks on the upper back) and pull the seat out.
There are two plastic coated metal hooks on the upper back of the seat. The hooks are angled at the ends so at the same angle cut 1-1/4" off both hooks and reinstall the seat. Now when you pull the latch and lift the seat the back raises and it will now come unhooked allowing you to fold the back of the seat forward. Not to worry, once you put it back push the back of the seat as you lower it back into position and the hooks re-engage. I've tested this on and off road so don't think the seat might come unhooked. It won't. The same can be done on the drivers side rear bench seat. Lots of amp storage back there! Good luck! Mod explained and performed by Deznutjob.

I would like to look at that modification and will try to be at meet today. It's a bitch to remove all that. I have 2 amps behind seats and would like to adjust w/out all that hassle..Thanks.

Does anyone use under the seat for anything else? I haven't missed the space cuz I've never used it since the amp/subs went in immediately after I got the truck but the rear wall is a neat idea for the amp still.
