Another HID Question

Hey my fog light on my driver side only comes on sometimes it will come on if I turn the light on and off.

My Question: Would this problem be with the ignighter or with the ballast or the bulb

I think the igniter and ballast are built into one unit. I could be wrong but I think thats the way it is. I don't think it would be the bulb. From my experience with HID bulbs in Mercedes, the bulbs either light up or not. Usually with the HID bulbs, you can tell if the bulb is bad by looking at it. If the little bubble in the middle of the bulb is dark and not clear, you have a bad bulb. There was another guy on here that was having an identical problem I think. I believe it was on one of your older posts Ross.

hey eric do u know anything about hid halos? like how hard is install?

You got me there man. I watched a video on how to install them on youtube. I think the hardest part is baking the headlamps and seems like dbdolan (Bryan) and Shawn have the baking down pretty good. I am a little too chicken to try it myself.
