I've got a true dual set up with Flowmaster 40 Series. I've been trying to see if there's any free flow cats out there that will work for our trucks considering all the emissions regulations.
GO!!!!

He is talking about changing out the cats..... there are 4 of them 2 on each side with an 02 sensor in front of each one. GAY!!! I also have been looking into this but not real hard and have came up with nada.

Yes, I remember seeing 4 when they jacked it up to install the Flowmasters....all i know is expensive replacement. Clue me in on why you want to take them out as I'm not hip to all this stuff. Is it for more power gains because more air flows freely? Yet emissions does not want all those exhausts busting out causing cancer, etc etc?

You're pretty much on the right path... It does free up a few horsepower but to get the full effect of that you need larger pipes. A lot of people use free flos because they make your exhaust louder. And yes the goverment is trying to cut down on emissions so they are basically choking off the exhaust with these very restrictive cats

UPDATE: Called up a local muffler shop and asked about the free flows and he said that if he cut off what is already on our trucks and put on free flows he would be breaking the law.... And then our trucks won't pass inspection... I don't know about ya'll but I've never seen an inspector get up under and actually check my cats specifically so I'm going to try and find a shop that will do a "cash job" and try and get this truck running GOOD!! On a side note before I do this... Does anybody know if this would actually hurt the engine or computer instead of helping it?

I'm guessing emissions testing equipment will pick up on the levels being released w/o anyone visually inspecting.

If you replace the cats with free flowing cats it should be fine. If you gut the cats you will run into a problem. You have 4 cats. 2 on each bank.
But the real question is: What will your dogs think if you get new cats? They may approve of gutting the existing cats but they may not approve of new cats.

Luckily they don't seem to be as strict about that here in Texas as they are in Cali I've got a couple of places that I go to to get inspected and that I can slide by with my 5% tint on the front windows

Yea I don't want to mess with the cat itself. I just want to replace them. And my dog will just ignore the cats... He's a smart male and doesn't get tangled up in p.... Gotta keep it clean

My tint will pass but I don't have the "approved" sticker cuz I got it done bootleg hook up!

There you T! That's the way to take care of things. Do they really make CA residents put a sticker on the vehicles saying their window tint is approved?

Ca residents also have to carry a spare Tofu brick in case of a break out of normality.

Have you ever tried to eat ToFu? Atleast tires have some carbon black in them for taste.

Yes on the stickers in TX and I can only imagine CA would have an issue because their legal limit is less than TX's. I'll see what happens when truck goes in for inspection January.

It's the cheapest thing I've enjoyed so much. $6 for a loaded 2 lb burrito fresh off the grill with TONS of flavor. It takes a while to find good food spots that don't break the bank. That's the one thing I will miss. Now if you think you know a spot that has a great burrito, PLEASE let me know. I'll try it out. If it's better then I won't even have one thing to miss besides two of my best friends out there.

Now I have to stop there. I always talked myself out of it. Who names their restaurant Turtle? I was fearing that they were refering to the service.

service is not the best you've ever had, but i would not classify it as "bad". the food however is the best around by far and if you are a drinker they have the fish bowl with rum and punch or one giant margaritta
