I sell every item on the planet.... including other planets.... I entertain alot of clients on ranches and properties all over the state.... It seems that people in South Tx and the Hill Country just LOVE installing gates.... its their favorite hobby or something.... So, im constantly stopping and going.... Never breaking about 25mph for days at a time....

Dealership won't do it because of saftey issue. They do not want to take responsibility if something happens. I know my buddy researched online and found a way to do it to his Tacoma. Ao I am sure there is a way for the Tundra. I need to do it myself, drives me crazy also

I am trying to find lug nuts for my stock wheels. I can't seem to remember what I did with mine.
THOMAS - How much are lug nuts running?

Could you ever take Techstream to a meet that way some people could activate the factory alarm. Or would that be considered stealing from the dealership?

LMAO - Put the bags on the floor. Simple fix. My laptop does the same thing in my Highlander or the Tundra....put that mofo on the floor! Or just attach the seatbelt so if you're in an accident they are protected when the air bags deploy.

Yeah, other dealerships might do it but Star won't. They are a family own dealership, oldest in Texas to be exact. They don't have the deep pockets like other dealerships that are part of a big auto group. So just to protect themselves from lawsuits and all that legal stuff, its just easier and safer to not do it at all.

My laptop and case set it off as well when Im riding solo..... but thats not my biggest problem... As I mentioned, I travel MANY miles on private dirt roads.... not quickly by any means, just 15-20 mph at the most... everytime I stop to open a gate, put the truck in park, then go again, it starts chiming.... and it chimes for 30 seconds... EVERYTIME i go through a gate.... This last place I went to had 5 Gates on the main road.... 5 gates in, 5 gates out... 10 gates total.... And what do we have folks??? 5 minutes of chiming in one short trip to pick up a customer.... Thats a nearly everyday occurence for me... On the main road, I always wear my belt... its just second nature to put it on when I pull on to pavement... They are the main safety device on the vehicle and are proven to save lives.... My seatbelt is not uncomfortable, its just a hassle to buckle and unbuckle every few minutes to get in and out... Yall have seen my door sills and the scarred up spot where my seat belt hits.... I get in and out of that thing ALOT. Sorry for your troubles Thomas... I will hunt down a place that will do it... no worries.

Justin - it's simple enough to just buckle the belt behind you while going through the gates. Or buckling the passenger belt if there is a load on the passenger seat. That saves any liability and a lot of time too.
