What are your other mods so far? I hear most people love the Volant but never actually heard one in person. You're tagged for the next time I'm at a meet.

I parked by you once but you had cut ignition. I wasn't paying attention. Shame on me but I can remember the Powersticks a bit.

Volant with the stock exhaust is hardly noticebile until you get on it, then it it sounds like a raped ape. It is the only performance mod I have, the rest of mine are the cheap easy mods like the BHLM, removed vynil from pillar and the loud ass horn mod. Volant for the win..

Hehehe I've heard more about Volant than AFE. I went with K&N b/c I've heard of the brand and thought it would be trusted. Plus it was one of the first things I ordered and installed myself. Price was best of all I found too. We'll see if I swap it out....But you could persuade me to try the AFE if you let me drive your truck hahahahaha!

there is nothing wrong with K&N other than cleaning it. they do have a pretty good product but there are better. see... on your 5.7L motors, a CAI will increase botton end torque... our 4.7L, the botton end torque is less with an after market CAI... that is why I just did the stock air mod

So far I've heard Flowmasters, Magnaflow, Corsa, and Powsticks.....all I can say is I'm glad I didn't get the Magnaflows as I originally planned.

The highest verifiable gains I have seen so far have been with Volant and Gibson single 3inch. Not the loudest but the best for increased power. I havent seen what BAnks can do so I would probably say the banks exhaust kit will beat the Gibson but U haven't seen a test yet.

Why not the magnaflow? I have one on mine and it sounds good plus with the flow through design there is no restriction (unless you count the four cats )

I'm going to stick with aFe as well. Not saying Volant isn't as good, just satisfied with what I have. And you can't beat a Flowmaster!! Nothing sounds as good as it. I'm probably going to get a buddy to "mod" my dual 40's by cutting out the baffles!!
