Ok so just some quick things i've noticed.. this site is hard to navigate! not very user friendly. In fact, until just right now, I didn't know how to post a new thread lol. It was trial and error. So that question is answered. Another question, does carriage return work for people? When i hit it in my post it shows up as a space once it gets posted yet I see people that are able to make separate paragraphs. Whats the deal?Also I can't seem to use emoticons. I see them to the left of where I am typing right now but when I click on them nothing happens. (is there text to make emoticons pop up? such as a : ) or what?)Is this site just not mac friendly at all? Does it only support certain browsers or what?Please help, because I'd like to get on here more but its turning out to be more trouble than its worth..

I hate carriage return a couple of times in that post and as you can see, one long paragraph!

Hmmmm.... not sure if the site is ok for MAC format.... should be there is nothing different for exploring the internets.
I'll cope and paste the text codes for the emoticons later.
as far as the carriage returns go... is that just the "Enter" button?

No need to be sorry, i have NEVER had a virus with my mac. How many pc users can say that? Not to mention I don't even have anti-virus software. Not to turn this into a thing, but my mac runs as good as the day i got it 3 years ago! As a long time pc user, pc's won't last that long. Not without extensive work! In conclusion Mac >> PC :)But anyway, yes if any of those guys can help me out here it would be appreciated. Anyone?

There is a big difference in format types and all that tech crap between mac and pc though, so i wouldn't be surprised if that mattered. I suspect its more of a browser issue though? maybe?

ok....we know that Mac users think their machines are better.... fact of the matter is how the end result looks. i can do just as much on a PC than someone can do on a Mac.
Yes... PC's require a bit more TLC and maintenance

Lol, I didn't start this little mac v pc thing, just defending myself. Our machines are better, but that doesn't mean you can't do the same things on either. I mostly like mac because its that much easier to use and maintain. dmonge your point is moot because getting your laptop for free would be better than spending the ~700 - 800 dollars for a half decent PC also.wish i could get the enter button to work. does anyone else have a mac? i'm gonna try mozilla and post again.

computer is a computer to me i got an iphone and and a gateway and never had a virus on it o well ben can tell u from expeirience i am not a computer guy and never will be lol i work well with engines not these typey thngs lol so i cant help u either just addin up on my count too

haha, i understand. i've got it worked out with this browser now.
if you have never gotten a virus it must be because your comp is fairly new, hardly used, or just dumb luck. everyone i have ever known that uses their comp regularly has gotten a virus at some point. including me. i used pc for over 10 years. was pretty into it too. but good luck to you and not getting a virus. back up your data!
