The stock truck just doesn't even look like it ever existed - looks weird compared to what I'm used to. *getting shivers just thinking about it*

hey when you pulled your carpet for the dynamat how does that work exactly and can you get it back to the factory look afterwards?

I order some fatmat for my truck and want to do the floor but afraid to mess up the carpet

The carpet will go down and look like factory. Take your sill plates off and your anchors before you remove it and you should have no problems

Never used Fat MAt. Was it cheaper than Dyna?

I used to replace the padding in cars and trucks that had water intrusion. I always replaced it with a WAY better padding that was much thicker than the stock stuff. I never had a problem. SOmetimes I had to reposition the padding slightly but it always worked out. I think that 70 to 80 mils is slight compared to half inch carpet padding.

Do yours like in the picture and you willl be safe. The strutural crossmembers can be skipped. The pic shows them stopping before the piece.

I'll send the enclosure guy and email and see if I can get him to be a sponsor on here
same guy that told me to go with the fatmat says it works great but to get the extreme may only be and extra 20 mils but that it gives 2x on the sound dampening I'll let you know how the install goes it supposed to be roll on no heat required i got 100 sqft on ebay for 159 plus shipping so maybe it works like a charm we'll see

Sorrr guys been out of it for a min..... I used dyna and yes is was exspensive. but it took me 40 sqft to do the whole floor and the black pan on the back wall. Deff let me know how the fatmat sounds still need to do my doors and roof. As far as looks you cant tell I have dyna under the carpet.

I did the eintire floor...... I did the black piece on the back wall. And it helped alot on the sound of drone in the cab from the exhaust. Aslo cut down on the radeling from my subs.
