The title of this thread says it all.....if you have a question that needs answering please post here so we can help you out. Specific information needed for us to answer properly is: 1. 1st Gen or 2nd Gen Tundra 2. Current or wanted amount of lift (3"/6"/8.5"/12"/etc...) 3. Desired wheel size (include offset / backspacing) 4. Desired tire size (33"/34"/35"/37"/etc...) Those are the basics....but if you just have a general question about wheel/tire fitment....feel free to post your question here as well. If somebody on here knows the answer....we will chime in and help out.
Go!!! Just in case you ever need help calculating wheel/tire sizes...the below link is the best one I have ever used: http://www.wheelsmaster.com/rt_specs.jsp

Ok, Here it goes.... Me and My wife bought a New 09 Tundra ( 4.7L/ 2 wheel Drive DC/white.. Sorry, I could not jump off to a 5.7L but i wished i did) when they came out in march of last year. I love it to pieces, but I notice that it looks like the front end is a little lower than the rear. I am thinking that they do this at the factory. My, question is... Is there a kit that I can purcase to make evey thing look even ( wed sites/ guesstiates on $$$$ ) Tires: I have the sandard tires and wheels on the truck, But I am wanting to go to something that looks rugged but yet still get a decent gas milage on the highway. I do not mudd but to have the ablitiy to go across some mudd would be nice.... Any info would be great... By the Way I am on prescription drugs right now so my typing might be outta wack right now..... I hate being SICK!!!!! TexasSlam

If you use stock wheels you will be limited to tires that will have a minimum wheel width of 8". It's not a bad thing...just a fact. It's all about your budget. If you have some nice stockers and not the styled steel wheel...they will look good. Any other advice you need?

You can get the leveling kit that will raise the front of your truck to be level with your back. This is done by putting a spacer on top of your factory coils. You can get them in 2 2.5 and 3". I think that 2.5" will level the truck and allow for 32 or 33" tires. You can get these just about any were truck parts are sold. Fatbobsgarage.com has some of the cheapest. Another great thing is your ride quality will not change with these spacers. They also will not void your factory warranty. Nittos are a great tire and reasonable on cost and mileage. BUT any tire over stock size will decrease your mileage. To help with this would be an exhaust and cold air intake.

FYI, I have the 3/1 kit on mine...you can click the link in my sig and it will show you my vhoist page with all the pics. Like shawn said, you can go with an A/T tire on your stock wheels to start with if $$$ is an issue. If not, get you some wheels that you will like for the long term. Website for my 3/1 kit is: http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/tundra.htm and you can get the kit for around $299 + shipping. Install should cost you no more than $300 locally...and I bet you can get it cheaper if you look hard enough. Tires: Right now the Hankooks are hot...and you can get them alot cheaper than the Nittos or even the higher class tires like Toyos or BFG's. Depending on what wheel you go with...we will get you the proper tire size for your wheels. Just let us know when you get ready for tires. I have an entire write-up on a truck with a 3/1 kit on stock toyota wheels.....but it's too long to post here. Here is the link: http://www.tundratalk.net/forums/tundra-wheels-tires/73661-official-thread-tire-answers-all-setups.html#post267741

If you dont have the money to get it installed I can do it. It takes 45 min a side to do the front. The rear just depends on what you get... Also take into account you will need a 4 wheel alignment 80 bucks for a 6 month warranty at NTB.

Man Chris...I would have them installed at 4 wheel parts on a trial basis...see if they have any laying around the shop. If they are 13.5" wide....you might be looking at trouble without spacers. I can't confirm that...but mine is pretty tight now at 11.6" wide. I guess if you have the offset on your wheels to compensate for the tire width...you might be ok.
