I guess I'll stick to a 3/1 level if I ever do it then...

OOOOOOHHHHHHH Now that is a tuff call. But again you could do both, people always selling bikes cheap just have to find the right deal.

Ahhh I'm not worried about the cost of the bike....I'd rather buy a dirt bike than do the lift/level. And I know my subs will hit much harder if I change that head unit but since I don't drive the truck that often I haven't done much inside. I'm hoping to do some things at the end of the year.

Ok so what's the difference between Stage I and II? I'm a lazy ass to go research myself then still come back and ask wtf half of it means. I'm going 6" or not at all....forget level. I'll just take my time building the budget over the next year if that's how long it takes. I got to tag along at the dunes in Cris' RBP Tundra and it is AMAZING!

Ok did my research. Any leakage issues with the front coil overs on your Stage II setup? I think I'm going to save up for the Stage I, 20" ProComps, and some BFGs.

NO I had no issues with the coils. The ride is awsome and everything is adjustable. The front coils can be turned up or down and the rear shocks can be turned soft or harder. Great for when loading a bunch of stuff, just a few clicks on the shocks and no more sag.

I've got the Stage 1. I think it rides alright. I was told that there wasn't much difference in ride quality between Stage 1 & 2. However I'm looking into it right now and I'm probably going to go with the coilovers up front and some reservoirs in the rear. Pro Comp is definitely the way to go. I used to be a Fabtech guy but after talking to several shops I found out the they've had to many problems with that kit.
Word of warning though, once you lift it, you'll never be satisfied. At least that's the way I am. I wish I had a 10" with 40's and 24's. haha

Hahahaha well that's the plan since there's no going back once you go 6" anyway. I can't do it right away so I do have time to decide if I NEED the Stage II. Maybe I'll find that rich hubby and not even have to decide...hmmmm! Either way, I appreciate the comments and yes I've heard Fabtech is NOT the way to go for the 2nd gens.

Told you I'm addicted. Found someone selling Stage II for 1600+shipping OBO. What types of questions should I ask about the parts for sale to make sure I'm not getting screwed? And of course I'm going to ask to pay less and see what they say.

you really need pics and how many miles are on the kit what kit is it. That is half price, alot of little pieces that you wanna make sure are there. Look at the shocks that they are selling make sure they are the same as the kit pro comp MX6 adjustable in rear and pro comp adjustable coil overs for front.

Many many pictures. A detailed list of all the parts they are including, You can then take that list and compare it to the actual parts list of a brand new lift. You can find this at Pro Comp site. How old the kit is and how many miles. Why they are selling it. If it is local I would even ask to go see it.
That is a very good deal though, I want to upgrade to Stage II but found out it will cost me $1200 to do so and I just can't spend that right now. Guess I'll just settle for now...

I pretty much have my mind set on it now so I will be Stage 2 even if it takes a full year to make sure I don't mess up my personal savings blowing it on the rig.
