Pull out your center console. (more pics to come)

Drill hole through console and floor of truck. Add a drain fitting to console and silicone.

Take two cans of exspandable foam and spray evenly on console to insulate. Let dry completely (12 hrs).
Then take a razor blade and shave off the excess.

Once all foam is dry set console back in and check for fitment. Note: Leave the 12v plug unplugged. the 4x4 guys will have to cut out for
the 4x4 box under console. Once fitment is god bolt back down. After bolted back down silicone the 4 bolt holes up. Let dry completely, leave all doors and console open during this time. The silicone smell is strong.

Add your fav. beverage and add ice. I can fit a 24 pk of cans and a 10lbs bag of ice in mine and still have plenty of room.

is that just the bottom of the box or is that a piece of stainless?

did you run flex tube to a needle valve on the frame for easy access to the drain?

say leave 12volt plug unpluged the one inside the box only (due to moisture right) or the one in the back seat as well?

just the front one....I hve yet to have moisture sit in there but didnt want to take that chance. That is a crewplug, I did not get the detailed with the tubing. Wanted to make sure it all worked first. So mine just drians straight out the bottom.

Neat mod - and seems inexpensive compared to whichever company makes the cooled glove box.

Bought dad gum time! Although I saw it all in process! And for anyone that attempts this... Make sure you let dry for the alotted amount of time and leave the windows at least cracked. I was higher than a kite there for a second.

If I choose to fabricate a removable liner what would you recommend i use?

I dont want to drill a hole in the bottom of the truck.

I was thinking of a hard sheet of thin plastic fused together, but i am open to suggestions

Pretty easy mod...I was trying to over think it, but once I started doing it, it wasn't bad.

I wanted to see the drain portion so I have a clearer image in mind when scouting for supplies.

I bought a plastic adapter that was male threads on one side for 1/2" pvc and a barbed nipple on the other to attach 1/4" hose...27 cents at Lowes I siliconed the line onto the nipple to be extra careful even though it would be ok to just push onto the nipple.........................................................................................

I drilled a hole just big enough for the threaded side to fit through, actually screwed it in and topped it with a conduit nut to give myself extra insurance so that it would never back out. trim excess threads with dremel to make it drain a little sooner...this would be a good mod for the meet, shouldn't take but an hour.

Agreed - so I'll combine Shawn and your list of items to get my supplies. As long as I can still use it as my usual storage space, I'm happy....and it seems like you can.
